Month: September 2013

printing

I’ve been making more of an effort to go to Zygote Press once a week, it might go to the side a bit soon as I work on paintings for a show in November but i’ve been going most every Monday for a month or two now. I think it’s been  good to get out of my habits and out of my house sometimes and even talk to people. nice. here are some pics from last Monday, just cell phone pictures but you get the idea.

This second plate I am working on is kind of a fussy inker and the ink a little sticky.  The other plate is a whiz to ink up so in comparison this one left me  this one left me ala poupee’d out.

I did finish up the edition of my earlier plate which i think i posted an image of on my blog earlier. hmm i will have to check, but it’s the plate in the first two pictures on this post anyways. I made an edition of 55, which I believe is the largest edition I’ve ever managed, Not sure if my skills are improving or if this was a fluke. We will see!
